Bryan has over 30 years’ experience in the investment management sector, having acted as a director on investment fund and management company boards for over 20 years.
Bryan has spent the last four years launching a number of private market funds - covering asset classes including private equity, infrastructure, and real estate debt, with structures ranging from Luxembourg partnerships, Irish QIAIFs to ELTIFs. Prior to this he was a Managing Director at State Street Global Advisors, where he headed up the EMEA investment fund product function - encompassing UCITS and AIF ranges domiciled in the UK, Ireland, and Luxembourg. He previously held similar roles at Morgan Stanley Investment Management and HSBC Asset Management. These roles included the oversight of financial statement preparation for investment funds.
Throughout his career, he has had interactions with regulators in the UK, Ireland, and Luxembourg on investment fund matters, both through his investment fund product roles and also as a Designated Person in Ireland and a Conducting Officer in Luxembourg. Bryan has established cross-border management companies in both the UK and Ireland, enabling the efficient management of UCITS and AIFs across the EU.
Bryan has a first class honours degree from Lancaster University in Accounting, Finance and Economics. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991 and a Certified Investment Fund Director in 2015.
