Charlie is a chartered accountant with over 35 years of experience in the Financial Services industry. He has held leadership positions within Investment Banks, as an Investment Banker adviser and Chief Financial Officer. During this time, he has chaired and sat on numerous committees including board, executive, audit, risk, equality, diversity & inclusion, remuneration and operating activities.

He has extensive experience of public and private M&A, advisory and capital raising across a broad range of transactions and sectors.

Charlie has been a CFO for 20 years, where he had responsibilities for internal and external reporting. He has been a leading participant in devising and implementing strategies, change management, M&A, fund raising, capital structuring, FCA investigations, regulatory capital reviews, cost reduction programmes, creating KPIs/KRIs for effective MIS, risk management frameworks and post-merger integration.

Currently he runs an advisory business providing advice to companies on strategy, governance, business planning and fund raising and is Chair of an East Anglian based charity.
