Henrietta Jowitt

Henrietta is a senior business leader with more than two decades’ experience driving growth and transformation for organisations such as the Confederation of British Industry (Deputy Director General), Advent International, Schroders (Global Marketing and Investor Relations Director), and Cushman & Wakefield (Partner). She holds several non-executive director roles, is an iNED for Franklin Templeton Fund Management, a Trustee for arts organisation Opera North and an advisor to the Principal of Green Templeton College, Oxford.

In addition, she grew her Non-Executive Director portfolio, as an iNED and Chair of the Remuneration Committee for Newton Investment Management and Newton Capital Management. More recently she has joined the UK Fund Board of Franklin Templeton.

Prior to the CBI, Henrietta joined the global private equity firm Advent International, where she worked closely with the board on a range of high-profile initiatives, including the design of its ESG framework.

This was preceded by the role of global marketing and investor relations director for Schroders where, as a member of Exco, she developed and executed a client-centric marketing strategy that supported substantial growth in strategic Asian and European markets. She also co-developed their first ESG fund with the CIO and team.
