Robert Kay

Over the course of a career spanning more than four decades, Robert spent nearly 20 years employed by large financial institutions working both in the UK and the US. He specialised in the delivery of services to financial institutions and the development of new technology to support those activities. Subsequently he spent 20+ years as a leading consultant in the fields of global custody, fund administration, algorithmic trading and securities lending. He has advised almost all of the leading services providers worldwide as well as some of the biggest asset managers, pension funds and family offices.

During the last decade Robert has established a range of financial technology businesses. These involve market abuse and surveillance, accountancy software, regulated payment services and transaction cost analysis, in each case developing and offering new technology solutions including machine learning and distributed ledger systems (blockchain) as well as mobile solutions, SaaS and other cloud-based services.
